I am one of those people, I make a list of every goal that I could ever have.
Once a year I make my huge list of goals for the year to come.
I go through marking off each and every goal I hit on my list no matter how big or small the goal might be.
Once each one has been completed to see the list grow shorter and shorter makes my heart smile.
I start writing my list in November for the following year as it is the time to be Thankful and lets be honest I like having things to be thankful for.
Today is the day that I started my list for the coming year. I am not saying I will hit all of my goal but I work my hardest to reach every goal I have.
To start off you need to know that my list of goals are not in any way limited to my career.
It can be anything that I have want in my life in this next year.
No matter what it is, I put it on my list.
This year I decided to do something I have never done before.
I am going to post my list on here for all the world to see.
Unlike all the years before this I will not have a few things I always try to do.
I am sad to admit that I have have 2 things on my list that honestly I can not control but I try every year.
Even with my training I know I can not do these things yet every year I add them.
The things I can never do but always try to do are. To change the lives of 3 of my " best friends " I will admit maybe the word best friends is not the correct words. I know that everyone in the Life Coaching business has that one person that they would love to help. Love to in a sense help change their lives, push the to reach their goals. Yet all attempts fail.
I can not make people do anything, I can not make people have goals, reach for their goals or even coming up with their own true goals.
I am not their mommy nor am I any of my client list.
Yet every year I find myself trying.
It has been 10 years of trying both as a life coach and as just a friend and well sadly that was my first lesson as a Life Coach.
You can not change anyone! Unless they want and are ready for a change.
Keep an eye out for my goal list!
